Breakout Session #1 - Using the Supervisor Audit Report

Are you using the Supervisor Audit report yet? This functionality was introduced in CSTS in version 2.0.3.X in January of 2009 to assist with caseload audits and staff reviews. Terryl Arola was a member of the committee that assisted STI with the design of this capability and she has been utilizing this tool since its introduction. She will provide a demonstration on how she has implemented it into her management procedures at her Pine County office and share her insights on how to get maximize its capabilities.

Breakout Session #2: Supervision Violation Prototype Demo and Feedback Session

In early 2009, the CSTS Executive Committee created a committee with representatives from all three delivery systems to standardize within CSTS, the data collection and report format of Probation and HRU violation reports. The committee’s stated mission was “to provide a violation report process that effectively documents the reason(s) for the recommended disposition, standardizes the report, enhances agent efficiency, allows for data extraction, and provides for the enhancement of public safety.”

At this session, you will learn about the committee’s process, draft recommendations, and view a demonstration of the prototype.

Breakout Session #3 - Preview of the new MNDOC LSI and YLS Assessment Tools

The Department of Corrections is updating the S3 offender assessment module. Both the LSI and the YLS assessment tools will have a new enhanced user interface. The new module is expected to be released in January 2010. The changes will affect agents, support staff, research staff, and S3 user administrators. This session will provide views of the new interface as well as provide time for feedback and questions.

Breakout Session #4 - CSTS Administrator Training Session

This session is training session for CSTS administrators on the upcoming November CSTS release. This release introduces several new major features and utilities including:
o DEM Enhancements
o CSTS Monitoring System
o Mental Heath Screening Tracking Functionality
o New Client Contact Plan functionality
o New Message Center
o General system high priority enhancements
o Word 2007 Upgrade Converter
o Completion of Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 64-bit, SQL Server 2008 compliance
Carrie Stumne will review all of the new reference tables, system settings, security options, and recommend procedures to assist CSTS administrators with the software’s implementation.
