Juvenile/Adult Information Management System (JAIMS)

The Juvenile/Adult Information Management System (JAIMS) provides Minnesota detention centers an all-new JAIMS Main Search Screen. Click for larger image... information system. Under a contract with the Minnesota County Computer Consortium (MCCC) and a design team consisting of staff from several detention facilities and the Department of Corrections, Strategic Technologies developed software that meets the information needs of Minnesota detention centers and provides the nightly upload to the state's CrimNet system.

JAIMS is a client/server application that operates in a Microsoft Windows desktop operating environment using a Microsoft® SQL Server Database.

JAIMS Software Features:

  • User-friendly Windows® interface for easy utilization by all staff levels.
  • Extensive tracking of client and admission information.
  • Powerful document management system featuring Microsoft Word. All word processing documents are directly linked to the admission record. Users can setup templates with embedded data merge codes. This eliminates the repetitive tasks of retyping data already in the database; instead, data will auto-fill.
  • Standardized health assessment.
  • JAIMS Client Detail Screen. Click for larger image...
  • Admission Wizard for easy client and admission data entry.
  • Digital photos of the client may be attached to the client record.
  • Multiple client search options.
  • Alias tracking and lookup.
  • Extensive user security system.
  • Reference tables to ensure data integrity and for data field customization to meet local needs.
  • Captures per diem and expense data for billing third parties.
  • Configurable nightly DIS CrimNet upload.
